I’m Gary Ebersole, a retired high-tech startup executive. In 2006, I bailed out of working in the startup world of Silicon Valley and living in San Francisco to move to Santa Fe, New Mexico. A few years ago, I co-founded the Camp Codger podcast for people in their golden years. Our team of codgers has explored the joys and challenges of aging for over 70 episodes. It became apparent to me while producing Camp Codger that there was a topic that was often ignored–our mortality and dealing with the impacts of our deaths on our survivors. I decided to start a conversation on this essential topic with a new podcast, And When I’m Gone.
